Hall Newman Center

The Problem

The Hall Newman Center is SUNY Oswego's Catholic campus ministry. They are founded on three core values: prayer, community and service. Their original brand identity was inconsistent and outdated; most materials created on Word. They also wanted to shift their target market from lifelong community members, to new students who might not know about the Center. They wanted to shift their image from a traditional church to a spiritually nurturing community.

The Solution

To communicate the Center's "home-away-from-home" spirit, I developed a brand identity with bright colors, bold type, and encouraging tag lines. These assets stayed consistent across flyers, brochures, social media posts and digital signage.

The Results

My three years of designing at the Center saw hundreds of new students, as well as consistency in attendance of current members. The best part of this ongoing project was seeing the impact the Center had on students' lives, and knowing my designs played a part in engaging students from the beginning.
